I know many of you have been waiting and waiting with baited breath for the day that I would actually answer the questions that you have asked in a comment on my blog.  Well, today is that day!  (whenever I see questions, I think about just adding another comment with the answer, but who really goes back to read what the answer might have been… then I think I’ll send them an email with the answer, but that seems a little overboard.  So due to not knowing what to do and being bored, you get this post! Hooray. You’re excited. I can see it in your eyes :))

1. Andrea: The font that I used for the Katie:2009 thing is MEgalopolis Extra.  It’s a free font that I found on Smashing Magazine (I LOVE that site).  The font is great too.  It has a bunch of glyphs that you can use that make it so the second letter sits on top of the first letter.

2. Andrea: Yeah, just January for right now.  Fear not though, February is coming SOON! (and I actually do have one picture per day for Februrary.  I got better at remembering.)

3. Dani (and everyone else who loves the serial comma): You didn’t ask a question really, but yes, we can still be friends even though you use unnecessary commas.  I don’t judge.

4. Cheryl: For digital scrapbooking I use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and sometimes Illustrator from CS3 (I’m still trying to convince Bryan that we NEED to buy CS4.  While most people just use Photoshop, I like to use InDesign and Illustrator because I am more comfortable with those products and they work SOOOO much better when you are using type and I like to write a lot about the pictures.

5. Heather: I believe it was Aunt Ruthann dropped me on my head.

6. Kadie: No, this isn’t the last season of LOST.  They are close and are starting to tie up some of the loose ends, but it still just leaves you with more questions than you started with.  It’s one of the reasons why I LOVE IT!

7. Kari: I like to do both cards and scrapbooking.  I like to do it digitally though, I can’t get into the paper/traditional scrapbooking because there is no undo button.  I like to be able to undo without wasting a paper that I bought because I cut it too far.

8. Maleen: Did you get the cookie brownies or did Kari get hungry on the way to your house and eat them all before taking them to you?  :)

9. Dani: The swirls that I used for Mel’s invite are a free vector that I downloaded from vecteezy.com.  They have a lot of weird vectors, but some really cool things, sometimes you just have to pull apart the images and you’ll get some cool things.  I do wish that I could say that I made those. *sigh* Maybe someday I’ll be that cool.

10. Breanne: I haven’t ever read “Taking Charge of Your Fertility.” I’ll have to look into it.  Thanks!

11. Kristin: Yes, Marketing did win the Halloween contest with our Monsters Inc!  Wa Hoo!

(wow.  These questions are coming from old posts…)

12: Deanne: I never did figure out who your relative was that worked at Henry Schein Practice Solutions with me… I remember your husband saying something about it once, but I can’t remember.

13: Kari: That was my cousin Kari and she says it just like you do.

14. Maleen: Yes, she did get that pillow at Target, well actually, I got her that pillow at Target.  I’m such a great sister.  ha ha.  I bought her the bedding for a graduation present.

15. Steff: I do remember when we stopped on the Canyon Road and took pictures of oddly colored tractors. Good times.

Okay.  Now I have gone so far back in my comments and I can’t remember what they are about.  So I’m done. I think though, my favorite thing about this post is that most of you who I answered questions for, probably don’t even remember asking the questions.  ha ha ha!  Well, I warned you at the beginning that I was bored.

Looking back through some of the comments many of you have left on my blog over time makes me realize how wonderful you are – yep talking to you.  YOU ARE GREAT AND WONDERFUL.  I feel truly blessed to have so many friends who care about me so much, not just because you commented on my blog, but cared enough to think about what I had to say (which is normally not important) and comment and actually follow along with my life.  I think that technology with blogs and facebook and all those kinds of things like that, that help keep people in touch with people they love is so wonderful.  Ops. I think I’m late for a baby shower….

HAVE A GREAT NIGHT!

Oh, I feel special to have been mentioned, and yes I did get the brownies. There were very delicious. I probably need to get the recipe sometime.

Were you going to Janey’s shower? If so, I’m sad that I wasn’t invited. I don’t think anyone really knows me anymore now that I am in nursery, or maybe I am just not personable anymore. Or perhaps, I have too many children and so these young mothers do not relate to me. (I am trying to NOT have a complex…is it working?) And if it wasn’t Janey’s shower, please disregard that last paragraph.

I DO remember asking those questions – especially the one about the swirls! I have since found some cool free swirls around, but I seriously think I need to start perusing your design sites for cool free stuff. On another night when you feel bored, feel free to email me the design sites you frequent, so maybe I can be as cool as you!

PS – I went to a Photoshop workshop the other day, and the lady who taught it was a “Certified Adobe Expert” who is beta testing CS5. She’s only into Photoshop so could only speak for that, but she “recommended” holding off on CS4 and waiting for CS5 because the main difference is an interface change, and the cool goods are going to be in CS5. Take that for what it’s worth!
